A temple website account lets you see your temple record, keep your family's birthdays and anniversaries up to date,
and sign up for temple events more quickly. This page explains each step.
Use an email address you can open now. We send a code to it, and it becomes your sign-in.
If you have given the temple your email before (for donations, poojas or sign-ups), use that same email.
That is how we find your existing temple record and connect it to your account.
Use your name as the temple knows it, so your account can be matched to your record.
Each person needs their own email. Family members without one can be added to your account later (see My Family).
2. Create your account
Go to Create an Account (or choose Create an account on the Sign In page).
Enter your first name, last name and email.
Username (optional): 3 to 30 characters: letters, numbers, dot, dash or underscore, starting with a letter. You can sign in with it instead of your email.
Phone number (optional): helps the temple office find your record.
Password: At least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol (e.g. ! @ # $). Type it again in Confirm Password.
Choose Create Account. You will be taken to the Verify Your Email page.
If you see “An account with this email already exists”, you already have an account: sign in,
or use Forgot password? if you don't remember the password.
3. Verify your email
Open the email from donotreply@qchindutemple.com and find the 6-digit code.
Type the code on the Verify Your Email page and choose Verify Email.
Didn't get the code?
Wait a few minutes, then check your spam or junk folder.
Make sure the email address was typed correctly.
Choose Resend Code for a new one. You can ask for a few codes an hour; after that, please wait an hour.
The code works for 24 hours. If you closed the page, just sign in with your email and password:
you will be taken back to Verify Your Email with a new code.
4. Your first sign-in
When you sign in for the first time, we connect your account to your temple record:
One record with your email and name: it is connected straight away and you go to My Account.
No record yet: a new temple record is created for you.
Several possible records, or the name doesn't match: the temple office checks which record is yours.
You will see “The temple office needs to check which temple record is yours”. We email you when it is ready.
You don't need to sign up again.
If a sign-up could not be approved, you will see a message saying so and receive an email with the reason.
5. Signing in and forgotten passwords
On Sign In, enter your email or username and your password.
Forgot your password? Choose Forgot password?, enter your email or username,
and we email you a code. Use it within 1 hour to set a new password.
After several wrong passwords, sign-in is paused for a short while. Wait, then try again, or reset your password.
On a shared computer, choose Sign Out when you are done.
6. My Account
My Profile: your name, birthday and anniversary, phone numbers and address.
Change email: we send a code to the new email; enter it within an hour. The new email becomes your sign-in.
Change password: enter your current password and a new one (a recently used password may not be accepted).
Username: choose or change the username you can sign in with. We email you whenever it changes.
7. My Family
Choose Add family member and enter their name, relationship and dates (birthday, anniversary).
If a family connected to yours (for example your spouse's) already has a record for that person, you will be asked
“Is this the same person?”. Choose their record if it is them, so the family shares one record instead of a copy.
If the temple has a record with that name that isn't connected to your family, the person can't be added from the website.

Family members who have their own account keep their own details; you can only change their relationship.
Remove takes the person off your family list. If their details aren't used anywhere else, they are deleted
(including their own account, if they have one), so please remove carefully.
