Quad City Hindu Temple

Annadata is a food program to serve devotees who visit the Quad City Hindu Temple on Saturday mornings. Timing of Annadata is between 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.

How to sign up: Devotees can sign up to cook and serve food. Please choose from the available dates in the calendar given below. Fill in the required details. Annadata names and menu will be sent to the community and posted at the web site. If names should not be made public, please specify that when you sign up.

Annadata Guidelines:

Sattvic Vegetarian food can ONLY be served. (Onion ,Garlic, Eggs should be strictly prohibited)
Food can be prepared at home and brought for Annadata.
Menu can have a maximum of 5 items - includes all entrees (main dishes).
Annadata may add maximum 3 from condiments/smaller items listed - yogurt, raita, chutney, pickle, papad, chips.
Temple Website & Weekly email will display only 5 main items of the entrees & 3 condiments/Smaller items.
Kitchen may be used till 2:00 pm including clean-up.
Clean-up: Kitchen area, temple utensils/appliances which were used during the annadata should be cleaned. The dining hall should be swept,vacuumed and garbage bins should be emptied. (Broom and vacuums are available in the Temple Utility Room)
Please follow guidelines in the temple kitchen. Please help maintain the sanctity of the place of worship.

In case of special circumstances or events, the Annadata program is subject to change or cancellation.
In case of special puja, Annadata timings are subject to change.
